New worker
- Jobsite and electrical safety
- DC theory and math
- Tools, drawings and residential foundation
The planned framework pairs related technical instruction with sponsor-approved, supervised on-the-job learning across safety, theory, code, wiring methods, services, grounding, motors, controls, systems, troubleshooting, modern power, and leadership.
A planning value only. Final related-instruction hours are controlled by approved apprenticeship standards.
Each year ends with theory/code, calculations, practical demonstration, OJL review, and an advancement decision.
Hours must be distributed across approved work processes. A sponsor may change every category and target before registration.
TTS must not claim that these proposed hours are accepted until an approved sponsor, registration agency, and applicable licensing authority say so in writing. Online modules never authorize energized work or replace apprentice registration, journeyworker supervision, employer training, permits, or inspections.
Safety and hazardous-energy control; tools and material handling; drawings and layout; boxes, supports, raceways and pathways; conductors, pulling, splicing and terminations.
Services, feeders, branch circuits and panelboards; grounding and bonding; transformers; motors, controls, industrial equipment, and protective systems.
Lighting and controls; testing, troubleshooting and commissioning; fire alarm and limited-energy awareness; PV, storage, EV and distributed-energy tasks.
Planning, coordination, quality, documentation, inspection readiness, deficiency correction, crew communication, customer communication, and turnover.
Complete required related instruction, attendance, written theory/code assessment, and calculation work with units and source references.
Demonstrate the assigned task from current drawings and requirements with no critical safety failure.
Show sponsor-reviewed OJL distribution, mentor evaluation, real task variety, quality, and increasing independence.
Advance only when instruction, practical evidence, conduct, and sponsor-controlled field records agree.
Unauthorized work, defeated protection, unverified de-energization, improper instruments or PPE, resistance testing on energized circuits, unsafe energization, concealed/uninspected work, or false records require stop, remediation, and documented re-evaluation.
TTS has identified a prospective founding electrical lead with 25 years as a master electrician and company owner, with experience from residential work through data centers. Public appointment and program authority will follow written agreement, active-license and good-standing verification, lab/OJL control approval, and required school review.
